The CLAT UG Eligibility Criteria 2024:
Candidates must have completed the Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Test with the minimum marks shown below to be eligible for the CLAT exam 2024 (UG).
- Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other groups receive 45 percent.
- 40%: For SC/ST category.

To be eligible for the CLAT PG programme, candidates must have a valid three-year or five-year bachelor’s degree in law and good academic qualities. The following are the cut-off points for each category:

A total of 17 seats are reserved for the NRI candidates aspiring for admissions under UG courses at West Bengal National University Of Juridical Sciences Kolkata. There is no seat available with them on the PG program or any other category except this one which gives you a chance to apply as an outsider student looking forward towards your LLB course from anywhere across India without being restricted by location limitations imposed by local universities that have hostel provisions only within their campus premises. - A copy of the VISA that makes you eligible to study in India

Documents Required by sponsored NRI candidates:
- A Valid Indian Passport of the Sponsor.
- A Copy of Visas obtained in the last 12 months by the Sponsor.
- The Sponsor must have a certificate from the local embassy confirming that he or she is an NRI, OCI, or PIO Cardholder.
The sponsor should indicate through an affidavit that he or she is willing to sponsor the NRI candidate and agree to all the rules and regulations of the specific university.
Who can sponsor candidates applying through the NRI-sponsored category?
The individual sponsoring the NRI applicant must be a first-degree relative of the candidate, And he/she shall not currently reside in India as an Indian citizen or Permanent Resident.
If the candidate does not have parents or near relatives, then such students can also apply for admission and file required documents along with their application form before the registration process is over. The guardian coming under this category needs to compulsorily submit an affidavit mentioning his interest in the educational career development of students and the relationship between them
