The exam is conducted for an under-graduation degree, and a person can sit for this exam after 12th boards.
The test has 150 questions and the time limit is only 120 minutes i.e 2 Hours. This means that a question must be answered within 30 – 45 seconds. To cultivate speed and accuracy, make sure to utilize the last six months before your exam carefully.

The Last Six Months CLAT Preparation: Get to Know The Subjects and Topics

One of the essential things, before you start planning your schedule, is to analyze the subjects asked in the exam. It is essential to know all the topics from which the questions might be asked. The CLAT exam is divided into five subjects, English, math, logical reasoning, legal aptitude, and general knowledge.

The Last Six Months CLAT Preparation: Curate a Study Time-Table

Once you have made a list of all the subjects and topics, take a mock test. A CLAT mock test will help you understand clearly about the subjects that you find difficult and easy. After giving the mock test, analyze the result report, it will provide you with an insight on how and where to focus your time more.
After knowing about all the topics and how well you know each topic, start making a study chart.

There are 150 questions and only two hours to answer them. It means that, for a question, a student gets approximately half a minute. To achieve speed, students must practice at least 100 questions for each topic.
For math, keep solving the problems continuously. Learn new shortcuts and try a variety of questions. Get acquainted with all the formulas and keep on solving problems from aptitude books till you gain speed, accuracy, and confidence.
To ace, the English section, read newspapers, books, and practice comprehension paragraphs. Increase your reading speed and learn new words every day to improve your vocabulary.
For legal aptitude, read about the topics in great detail.

There are numerous books available in the market or online, where you can solve tons of questions for practice. Also, make sure to prepare notes while practising questions. The Last Six Months CLAT Preparation: Mock Tests to Rescue

Practising is an integral part of any competitive exam preparation. But the most important key to ace the actual test confidently is by giving mock tests.
The reason why CLAT high-scorers, teachers, and experts stress the students to give mock tests is that:
1. Giving individual subject mock tests will help the students understand how well they know the subject and individual topics.
2. Giving an entire mock test will help you understand the pattern of the exam.
3. Make sure to give at least five full-length mock tests to gain confidence.
4. Giving mock tests will help in increasing speed and accuracy.
5. No surprises (or shocks) during in the examination hall.
6. Timely completion of the actual test.

2. The exam comprises of five sections, and each section has a different time limit.
3. The English section comprises 28 – 32 questions, which need to attempt within 20 minutes.
4. The logical reasoning section has 28 – 32 questions, which need to be solved within 20 minutes.
5. The general knowledge part has 35 – 39 questions, and 20 – 25 minutes to complete this section.
6. The Elementary Mathematics section must be answered in 20 minutes.
7. The legal aptitude section has a time limit of 35 minutes, and 35 – 39 questions need to answer.
There are 150 questions in total, make sure to at least answer 100-110, within two hours, to crack the test.
